Even with the best intentions for home-cooked meals, life often throws exciting curveballs – and sometimes, those curveballs involve spontaneous road trips to see your favorite band! This Thursday, my daughter and I are embarking on an overnight adventure to Las Vegas, eager to see Coldplay perform for the second time in just two weeks. It was initially her solo journey, but as a mom, I couldn’t let her make that four-hour drive alone. And, let’s be honest, the chance to experience Coldplay’s magic again was an irresistible pull for me too!

Our first concert was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to Kris, an incredible crew member who swapped our nosebleed seats for an exhilarating spot right on the floor. It was an AH-MAZING experience! We were so close to the stage, danced with abandon, sang (and perhaps screamed) every lyric, and emerged utterly exhausted but brimming with memories we’ll cherish forever. We’re incredibly excited to see them again this Thursday from a different vantage point – the last row up top. This way, we’ll have ample space to stand, dance freely, and enjoy the show without obstructing anyone’s view. We’re also looking forward to thanking Kris again for his generosity!

Beyond the music, another highly anticipated part of our Vegas trip is indulging in some Shake Shack. I’ve been craving a juicy burger, and it’s the perfect treat to complement a fun-filled getaway.
